JoE & Natasha’s Elegant Spring Wedding at The Woodlands, Leeds
There are some weddings that stay with you long after the confetti settles and Joe & Natasha’s day at the stunning Woodlands in Leeds was absolutely one of them.
From the moment I arrived a couple of hours before their 2pm ceremony (a ceremony time I’ve really grown to love!), the vibe was effortlessly calm and joyful. Hair and makeup were well underway, champagne was flowing, and there was this lovely sense of excitement in the air. No stress, just that beautiful pre-wedding buzz. Massive shout-out to Jessica and Charlotte on hair and makeup, who not only worked their magic but brought the best energy to the morning.
The Woodlands was the perfect backdrop for it all. From the beautiful bridal suite where Natasha got ready, to the orangery that held both their ceremony and reception, it’s a photographer’s dream. Floor-to-ceiling windows, endless natural light, flattering angles from every corner. I’ve said it before, but it really does make all the difference.

The ceremony itself was intimate, emotional, and soundtracked perfectly by the string quartet. The couple and their guests made the most of the April sunshine, spilling outside into the gardens for drinks and mingling. The speeches were everything you’d hope for- full of love, laughter, and a few tears.
And as if one gorgeous dress wasn’t enough, Natasha wowed us all by changing into the most stunning, chic second outfit after the first dance. We made time for a few extra portraits (because, of course!), and even squeezed in a champagne spray photo moment- my first time doing these, and they turned out so good!

But beyond the setting and the styling, what made this day really special were Joe and Natasha themselves. From our very first chat, it felt like we just clicked. They were warm, thoughtful, totally in the moment- constantly checking in to see if I needed anything, making me feel like part of the day rather than someone standing behind the camera. They were a dream to photograph, and I think you can feel that connection in every image.
This wedding was full of elegance, emotion, and joy and I’m so grateful I got to be the one to document it. I already can’t wait to be back at The Woodlands soon for more weddings just like this.
Thank you again, Joe & Natasha, for trusting me with your day. It was an honour.
